Diwali is around and the celebrations have already begun.

All Celebrations precede with Preparations and in the cliché Diwali preparations, tops “Cleaning”

It’s that time of the year when we discover the stuff we lost during the year and blamed our siblings for.

We also get hands on to some belongings that we had even forgotten existed. All these findings replay a few incidents in our minds & kindle us.

A place for everything & everything in it’s place

is everyone’s Diwali Resolution every year.

Like our houses, we also clean our office spaces. From desks to drawers to writing boards, everything is decked up to perfection.

From chairs to coffee machines, everything is touched and more than just touched.

But is that the only cleanliness we need in this Digital World?

Mute the “always cribbing” WhatsApp Statuses
Close the open POs
Close the open enquiries & set free those salesmen who’ve been continuously following up.
Take up those pending software demos that can set you free
Automate that everyday task you hate to do ( Use Zappier )
Empty those heavy recycle bins
Delete those unwanted screen captures enjoying in your gallery
Exit the boring WhatsApp groups ( You can now exit without anyone knowing )
Block those permission-less Whatsapp broadcasts
Finish that last episode of Netflix Series
Buy that organizer for your desk
Delete the unwanted Applications from your phone
Rename those contacts with right spellings
Delete those one-time phone contacts which you’ll never use again
Buy that CRM which you have always been thinking of
Build that SOP which works even in your absence

and this, will truly declutter our minds & allow us to enjoy the beautiful festival of Diwali, everyday at office.

and there shall come a day, when all of us would not wait for a “Diwali” for cleaning.
